    Well it depends on your area of electrical work.....Domestic, Industrial, Commercial, Testing etc etc.

    I got a VW Transporter LWB myself, gets all the conduit, tray, strut etc in just nicely. More often than not something Transit Connect size will do.

    Typically it will varies depending on how you use the vechile something like my example I used Americian pick up truck to carry my stuff plus with pick up truck I can able pull some items on the trailer but most Americian Electricians will typically use 3/4 or 1 tonne full size vans and they can pack it pretty good from wall to wall.

    In France I have Renault Trademaster van it is not too bad for me but only glitch is not very high with trailer towning so end up keep the Americian Ford Pickup truck on hand that can pull alot more than Renault Trademaster can do plus what more it have four wheel drive so I can able use from time to time when it get pretty rough in few spots.
