Nice one. I'd opt for the longer deal I think myself though it is your call mate. I'm sure you'll make the right choice.

Not good at the moment. Am looking to build up work by teasing it out of Google. But it is very quiet.

Hi Rob and welcome to CF.
I guess you're 'teasing it out of Google' with a website? Let me know if I can help mate, me and Google get on well.

Re: How you finding work..?
Business is a little slow for us, but like I said on my introductory post, we're relatively new to the area with minimal contacts, so we always knew it would be a little slower.
We've had a fair few quotes from folk, but pricing is always a hard one. We find trying to find the right balance so that you're earning a decent wage to cover all the bills and usual outgoings of running a business but at the same time, not pricing yourself out of the market, or under-pricing and seeming like a cowboy, is definitely the hardest point of all.
Been getting LOADS of calls from companies wanting to help us optimise our site with metafile tagging and stuff, which we're looking at, but they're not the cheapest to be honest and using a BT website builder is proving rathering difficult to do it myself.
But hey, we've had lots of repeat business from customers, so I'm sure the new year and a new van instead of the clapped out old "make to while we're starting up" van will help - fingers crossed

Re: How you finding work..?
No sex changes for us, we're fairly busy with consumer unit changes and rewires presently. General building stuff is quite slow (especially new kitchens & bathrooms....no surprise). Most of our work is work of mouth, referrals and returning customers. We've never advertised so we're lucky so far!
