Built a website for your business? Used Microsoft Office Live to build our company website - very easy and recommend it to everyone. Cost - nil, except small fee to register website as dot co dot uk.
Also useful for storing docs used on different computers, and giving customers real time access to their project management spreadsheets.
Ten out of Ten for this to Microsoft.

Re: Built a website for your business? Nice colour scheme, I would change this paragraph though.
Just the leave this to the expert bit, comes across as you not being an expert, whilst I appreciate your just not an expert plasterer, I would have something like, we work closley with a team of proffessional plasterers, enabling us to provide a complete service for any project.PLASTERING - we like to leave this to the experts and use our trusted contacts to take care of any plastering requirements you may have. We can either incorporate this in our quotes or provide you with these contacts.
Just my opinion.
Also the text at the top left of the side under the company name is touching the edge of the screen on my laptop, which is a widescreen, it may need moving over to the right a few spaces.
Looking good overall

Re: Built a website for your business? We seem to have quite a few who are doing it themselves on here! Well done to you all. Though note that if a potential customer did their own DIY, I'm sure you'd have some things to point out to them as to why a professional is better.
Same applies to websites. If you just want a website online, do it yourself. If you want to get actual business from it, then you need it ranking well in search engines. This is something that takes a lot of time to learn, and usually, lots of websites (and a bit of trial and error) so please do consider using a professional website company.
We have www.mistore.co.uk as sponsors on most websites, and they've had a sound response from those using them already, and many more will use them in the future (they've not been sponsors that long).
I can recommend them, and so can Dave who's with them.
Though don't take out word for it. Get your FREE demo account with them to have a play with their system and see if you like it for yourself.
That said, if you're the type that 'does it yourself' and you want a little advice regarding optimising your website for the search engines, then please do send me a PM and I'll do what I can to help.
