    Default Towel Rails Good or Bad for BTU's?

    Do you find towel rails give a lesser BTU compared to a similar sized radiator?

    Well they do after you put seventeen towels around them,this is always the problem with towel rails,customers always complain bathroom not as warm as when radiator fitted,you put a bigger towel rail in and all that happens is the customer puts more towels on,even had one customer who went out and bought more towels to put on one as she did not have enough nice ones toshow off
    And then you get people like my sister in law who do not use them,they are just for display,she gets mad if you use a towel from the rail,you have to use one out the cupboard,a nice cold,damp one!
    I try to say to cutomers, put one hand towel on rail then put bath towlels on just before you get in the bath or shower
