    Default Rated Tradesmen Websites

    Any of you on rated tradesmen type websites such as www.MyBuilder.com?
    We have our own thing which is free and similar-ish. www.FindTrustedTradesmen.co.uk, feel free to register on that.

    I don't know if they're any good. I've not had many good responses on a few of those types of websites. Don't do the ones that are a big monthly fee!

    www.MyBuilder.com which you pay for and www.FindTrustedTradesmen.co.uk which you don't are the two you want to checkout. The latter one is ours (so the people who run the forums you're on ) though it doesn't come with the benefit of bidding for jobs, which clearly needs managing well, and that's where mybuilder.com come into it.

    Nice one Simon. Do a good listing and it will rank in the search engines. Search Google for "Tiler in Durham" and notice his listing profile compared to the others.

    anything with a large monthly fee gets me worried!its a shame yellow pages dont seem to listen when i tell them that!

    i did not go much on the sites where you pay to bid on a job etc

    Try freeindex , it's free and it also boosts your website in the google rankings , had couple of jobs from it , worth a look

    I have a mate who uses trusted tradesmen he bid for jobs to price and has been getting a few... problem is he is a right bloody cowboy... been bankrupt 3 times and changes address every 6 months... he's a canny lad but i wouldnt get him to even look at my roof nevermind get onto it
